- मध्य रेलवे की थाल घाट और भोर घाटIn Ask Me ·October 25, 2023मध्य रेलवे की थाल घाट और भोर घाट- दुनिया की सबसे कठिन रेलवे लाइन जिसको बनाने में किसी न किसी कारण 24 हजार से अधिक लोगों की जान गयी। थाल घाट कसारा से इगतपुरी के बीच है जबकि भोर घाट कर्जत से लोनावाला के बीच। थाल घाट में जहां 18 सुरंग हैं वहीं भोर घाट में 52 सुरंग हैं। थाल घाट में जहां तीनों रेल लाइन आपस में थोड़ी दूर दूर हैं तो भोर घाट में आपस में पास पास में हैं। थाल घाट में कुछ ही सुरंग में दो रेल लाइन एक साथ गयी हैं तो भोर घाट में इससे ज्यादा सुरंग में एक साथ दो रेल लाइन एक सुरंग में गयी हैं। भारत में एक साथ दो रेल लाइन वाली सबसे लंबी सुरंग भोर घाट में है। थाल घाट में 03 कैच और 01 स्लिप साइडिंग है तो भोर घाट में 06 कैच साइडिंग और 02 स्लिप साइडिंग है। थाल घाट लगभग 15 किमी लंबा है तो भोर घाट 21 किमी लंबी है। थाल घाट की अधिकतम ऊंचाई 1918 फीट है तो भोर घाट की अधिकतम ऊंचाई 2027 फीट है। थाल घाट में रेलवे लाइन 37 फीट चलने पर 1 फीट ऊंची हो जाती है जबकि भोर घाट में थोड़ी कम मतलब 27 फीट चलने पर 1 फीट ऊंची हो जाती है। थालघाट 01 जनवरी 1865 को खुली थी तो भोर घाट का खंडाला सेक्शन 14 मई 1863 को और लोनावाला सेक्शन 14 जून 1858 को खोल दिया गया था। खैर मैं तो दोनों जगह का बहुत नजदीकी से पर्यटन करते हुए अंदाजन कम से कम दो हजार फ़ोटो खींचा होगा। नोट- कैच साइडिंग मतलब यदि बाई चांस किसी वजह से रेलगाड़ी अनकंट्रोल हो गयी तो वह इस चढ़ाई वाले ट्रैक पर चली जायेगी और ऊंची चढ़ाई नहीं चल सकेगी और अपने आप रुक जाएगी। जबकि इसके उल्टा मतलब यदि यह सेफ्टी ट्रैक नीचे की तरफ जाने के लिए बनी है तो वह स्लिप साइडिंग कहलाती है। यह सिस्टम प्लेन एरिया के सिम्पल ट्रैक में भी साईड की लाइन में होता है। जहां रेती या बालू डाला गया होता है, जिसे डेड इंड कहते हैं। बाकी तो दोनों घाट सेक्शन में 3 या 4 इंजन वाला बैंकर पावर इंजन लगता है तभी गाड़ी इतनी ऊंचाई पर चढ़ पाती है। बाकी तो डाउन या स्लोप की तरफ मतलब कल्याण तरफ आने में बैंकर पावर की जरूरत नहीं रहती। बैंकर पावर को तकनीकी कारणों से आगे की बजाय पीछे लगाया जाता है।008
