Are bungalows common in Bodrum or rare finds?
I’m looking for a single-level home in Bodrum — ideally something with a garden. Do bungalows exist much there, or is it mostly multi-floor buildings?

Bungalows aren’t super common but they exist, especially in older coastal areas or new boutique developments. Bungalows in Bodrum are usually single-level, 2 or 3-bedroom homes with outdoor space. I found one in Gündoğan — 110 m², small pool, nice stonework — for about €320,000. What’s nice is the lack of stairs, which is great for older residents or kids. These homes tend to sell fast due to limited supply. If you want privacy and a relaxed Mediterranean feel, it’s a fantastic choice. Just be ready to move quickly when a good one hits the market.
