Educational Qualification of Punjab Police Recruitment 2024
i) 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Education Board/University.
ii) In case of Ex-Servicemen, the minimum educational qualification shall be Matriculation.
Note : Candidates must have attained the above-mentioned educational qualifications on or before January 1st, 2024.

Mode of selection Punjab Police Recruitment 2024
Stage-I: Stage-I will consist of two common Computer Based Test (CBT), multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type Paper viz. Paper-I and Paper-II, of which Paper-II shall be qualifying in nature.
Stage-II: Stage-II will consist of Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Both Physical Screening Test and Physical Measurement Test shall be qualifying in nature.
Stage-III: Stage-III will consist of Document Scrutiny.
Negative Marking - There shall be no negative marking.

The Punjab Police is the law enforcement agency responsible for maintaining law and order in the state of Punjab, India. Established in 1861, it is one of the oldest police forces in the country. The force is organized into police districts, zones, and commissionerates, with officers ranging from constables to the Director General of Police.
In addition to its regular duties, the Punjab Police force often collaborates with other law enforcement agencies at the state and national levels to combat organized crime, terrorism, and other major security threats. The force also plays a crucial role in maintaining peace during times of civil unrest and in providing assistance during natural disasters and emergencies.
